  •  Legal Research; monitoring calendars; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with the supervising attorneys, investigating laws, statutes, regulations and legal precedents for case preparation.

  •  Assists in developing cases; scheduling depositions; preparing and filing legal documents (summonses and subpoenas; drafting complaints; preparing & filing discovery requests, agreements and pleadings).

  •  Assists in minimizing case costs for clients and preparing Retainer Agreements, Legal Invoices and Statements.

  • NYS Notary Public




Secretary:

Reception Duties: Greeting Clients, Answering phone calls, and managing correpondeces (emails, letters, etc.).

Scheduling: Coordinating meetings, appointments, and mainting calendars for staff members.

Document Management: Organizing, filing and retreiving records and documents as needed.

Data Entry: Updating databases and ensuring records are accurate and current.

Client Communication: Providing basic information, redirecting inquiries, and ensuring excellent client service.
